British PM Johnson, US President Joe Biden expected to work on Wednesday

WASHINGTON, June 9 - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the U.S. President Joe Biden are expected to work on Wednesday in order to open up travel between the countries as soon as possible, according to a statement from the British government.

Johnson, who arrived in Cornwall on Wednesday for his first overseas trip as president, will meet Biden on Thursday ahead of a meeting of leaders of the Group of Seven advanced economies that begins on Friday, the statement said.
