Data from Polish video games maker CD Projekt is now being distributed on the Internet during a security breach in February, leaked on Thursday in a statement released on Thursday.
The attack, which compromised some of its internal systems including the source code to its much-hyped game Cyberpunk 2077, dealt another blow to the Warsaw-based business after the game's launch was overcome by glitches.
We are not yet able to confirm the exact contents of the data in question, though we believe it may include current former employees and contractors details in addition to data related to our games, said the statement.
It added that the company could not confirm whether or not the data has been manipulated since the breach was manipulated.
Separately, video game maker Electronic Arts Inc reported on Thursday that it was investigating a recent data breach in which some of its source code and related tools were stolen.
