On 9 June : The Facebook Inc., Caroline Everson is leaving the company, she said in a Wednesday post on the social media platform.

Carolyn wishes you the best as she moves into a new chapter of her life. In an email, a Facebook spokesperson said that she is grateful for her contributions.

Everson, who had been at Facebook for more than a decade, became vice president of the Global Business Group of Facebook. She was a key spokesperson for the company when more than 1,000 advertisers joined a Facebook boycott last summer over concerns about not doing enough to combat hate speech on the platform.

The company said Nicola Mendelsohn, who runs the Europe, Middle East and Africa region of this division and has been in the company for eight years, will become the new interim leader of Global Business Group.

Earlier this year, Everson's boss and chief revenue officer David Fischer, who is overseeing the advertising business and managing its sales and marketing teams worldwide, said he would leave the company by the end of 2021. Here are some examples of our past projects.
