Italy, June 11 - Italy reported Friday 69 Coronavirus-related deaths against 88 the day before, the Health Ministry said. The daily tally of new infections decreased to 1,901 from 2,079.
Italy has recorded 126,924 deaths linked to the COVID 19 outbreak since its outbreak in February last year, the eighth highest toll in Europe after Britain and the second-highest in the world. Until date, there have been 4.24 million cases of cancer found in the country.
Patients in a hospital with COVID 19 - not including those in the intensive care - stood on Friday at 3,876, down from 4,153 one day earlier.
There were 21 new admissions at intensive care units, down from 30 on Thursday. From a previous total 626 increase the number of intensive care patients to 597.
