The first item from Gap's clothing line with Kayne West is going to be sold and it seems already sell out.
The rapper launched a single item from his anticipated Yeezy Gap line, a $200 unisex blue puffer jacket which was confirmed on Tuesday and is already available hours after it dropped. A spokesperson for Gap tells FOX Business in an email that the waiting room for pre-orders of the jacket will reopen soon.
The recycled blue jacket, launched on West's 44th Birthday, is made from bright nylon. It's expected to ship in November and will be the start of a 10-year deal with West and retailer. The Yeezy Gap line, announced last year, will roll out clothing for women, men and kids.
The line is designed to younger shoppers offering basics like T-shirts, hoodies and joggers and West will keep ownership over the brand Yeezy, Reuters reported previously.
West made a name for himself in the fashion industry with his lucrative Yeezy Sneaker deal with Adidas. According to Bloomberg, UBS is valued at $3.2 billion to $4.7 billion Yeezy has been valuated by Bloomberg (Reuters).
The Yeezy Gap Line will pop up with floating projections of the jacket in a number of locations in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
